Material Sampling Technologies provides comprehesive precious metal processing and refining services. Industries we serve include: elecronics and semiconductor manufacturing, automotive, plating, glass and fiberlass, metal fabrication and joining, jewelry, dental, photographic and aerospace.
MST's management brings decades of trusted experience in the precious metals recovery business. We safely and accurately process most precious metal bearing materials. Experienced production personnel and customized engineering controls ensure optimal recovery. New, top-of-the-line equipment lets us offer large capacity, shredding, milling, blending, melting and thermal redeuction:
Shredding: With three shredding lines, our shred and sample process reduces processing time and fees while maintaining uniformity and sampling accuracy. Examples of materials processed:

Burning: We reduce organics in burnable materials with our new thermal reduction unit. Our batch feed TRU is rated for 500 lbs./hour. After burning, material is milled or melted. Materials processed include:
-Filters
-Connector scrap
-Circuit boards
-Rags/wipes
-flex circuits
-Turniings
-Floor sweeps
-Sludges
Milling: Includes grinding, screening and blending. Ball mills bring grindable material to a fine powder. Oversized metallic fractions are screened and melted. Fines are blended for final sampling. We also blend and sample prepared sweeps. Material types processed include:
-IC-ceramic
-Sweeps/powders
-Slag
-Crucible scrap
-Refractories

Melting: Induction furnaews with capcacities from100 lbs. to 700 lbs let us melt various-sized lots efficiently. different ssampling methods accommodate different material types and matrixes to ensure representative samples. Materials melted include:
